Behold the finalists. One of the six acts below will be crowned the winner of the 2010 Arizona Daily Star's Battle of the Bands. Our panel of judges selected these performers after listening online to all 17 acts that entered. The bands were judged on sound quality, technical skills and competence, entertainment value, originality and creativity, and songwriting.

You can see the finalists perform at a warm-up show at Club Congress on Jan. 17.

The winner will be determined in a showdown at the historic Rialto Theatre on Feb. 19.
